COVID-19 Resources: Mental Health

In an effort to provide resources to the Leavenworth, Lansing and KCK communities as we -- together -- protect our families and save lives, I am providing information to frequently asked questions that I am receiving from friends, family and constituents about COVID-19.

You can view the complete list of resources at www.votepittman.com/covid19.

Mental Health Resources

Social distancing, fear, financial and food insecurity, disruption of schedule, and stress can cause a feeling of isolation and other mental health concerns.

“While we’re focused on our physical health care, and protecting ourselves from getting the coronavirus, we need to start paying attention to the mental health impact of this, because this is a global trauma that’s happening,” says Randy Callstrom, president and CEO of Wyandot Behavioral Health Network in Wyandotte County.

Let’s all stay in touch with friends and family. If you’re struggling- below are some numbers you can call for help.
