Despite the unrest last week, procedures and PPE appear to be in place now, though I still feel as though the initial medical response to symptoms was sluggish. I have been working with KDHE, and they appear to have a good strategy that focuses on using the new LCF facility as a central point for quarantining inmates.
Medics from the Kansas National Guard will be helping at LCF by taking temperatures and assisting staff.
